PURPOSE: A method for controlling a seawater desalinization system of a reverse osmosis technique is provided to secure the operational flexibility of a power generating source by being connected with the power generating source. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a seawater desalinization system of a reverse osmosis technique includes the following: information related to energy cost is received(S101); the rate of operation is determined based on the information(S103); one or more pumps are controlled based on the rate of the operation(S107); and one or more pressure adjusting units are controlled to adjust pressures applied to one or more reverse osmosis membranes(S113).
