PURPOSE: A grid signal receiver with increased wireless pointing performance, a wireless pointing system with the same, and a gradient correcting method in the wireless pointing system are provided to increase wireless pointing resolution and lower manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A grid signal transmitter(10) generates a grid signal. A grid signal receiver(20) receives the grid signal. The grid signal receiver detects motion of the grid signal transmitter. The grid signal receiver includes first and second X detectors and first and second Y detectors. The first and second Y detectors detect a horizontal pattern signal of a grid.
