PURPOSE: An LNG tank and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance workability and reduce man-hour of work since in a state a primary barrier is coupled on an upper insulating board, a reinforcing member is inserted into a corrugation portion of the primary barrier. CONSTITUTION: An LNG tank comprises a plurality of lower insulating boards(1), a plurality of upper insulating boards(3), a connecting board(5), a primary barrier(7), a reinforcing member(9), and a secondary barrier(11). The lower insulating boards are arranged in inner hull of the LNG tank at given intervals. The upper insulating boards are installed on the lower insulating boards at different intervals from those of the lower insulating boards. The connecting board is arranged between the upper insulating boards and is installed on the lower insulating board. The connecting board connects the upper insulating boards.
