DOUBLE-REVERSE-DIRECTION FOLDING-TYPE HORIZONTAL AXIAL TIDAL ENERGY TURBINE

A double-reverse-direction folding -type horizontal axial tidal energy turbine is disclosed. An impeller (1) of the turbine is connected with a generator (7) through a link rod (4), a rotary joint (5) and an acceleration gear box (6). The impeller (1) is rotated by the tidal energy so as to drive the generator (7). The generator (7) is respectively provided with an impeller (1), a link rod (4), a rotary joint (5) and an acceleration gear box (6) at both ends. The generator (7) and the acceleration gear boxes (6) are fixed at a common base (10). The base (10) is rotationally mounted on a supporting post (12) by a thrust bearing (11). The post (12) is fixed at a cement foundation (14) on the sea bed. The blades of the impellers, the link rods and the posts adopt a folding-type structure. The turbine has advantages of reduced volume, easy of transportation, reduced sea bottom mounting cost, prolonged service life and avoiding disassembly of parts.
