<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection method and a structure which allow connection of a new column straight to a base column. <P>SOLUTION: A connection method for building a tower-like structure 1 repeats the steps of: confirming for-system targets 16 using a camera unit 11 to respectively calculate three-dimensional coordinates of individual reflection mirrors 163 of the for-system targets 16 after connecting a new steel pipe 4 to a steel pipe 3; confirming presence of the individual reflection mirrors 163 on extensions of baselines a, b; respectively interconnecting top ends and bottom ends of the new adjacent pipes 4 with connecting links 5; calculating respective three-dimensional coordinates of the individual reflection mirrors 163 of the for-system targets 16 arranged on the steel pipes 3 and 4 to determine an overall strain of the structure 1; weld-connecting the new steel pipe 4 to the steel pipe 3, and the connecting link 5 to the new steel pipe 4; and confirming whether the overall strain of the structure 1 after welding is within a predefined management reference value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
