<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene resin composition excellent in balance of properties such as wear resistance, self-lubricating properties, impact resistance, chemical resistance, appearance, flexibility and moldability. <P>SOLUTION: The polyethylene resin composition contains 5-18 pts.wt of an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (A) satisfying a requirement (a-1) and 95-82 pts.wt of a low molecular weight or high molecular weight polyethylene (B) satisfying requirements (b-1) and (b-2), wherein the total amount of the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (A) and the low molecular weight or high molecular weight polyethylene (B) is 100 pts.wt. The polyethylene resin composition has a density of 955-970 kg/m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>and an intrinsic viscosity [η] within the range of 1.5-10 dl/g, wherein (a-1): intrinsic viscosity [η] is 10-40 dl/g.
