<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for installing an overhead crane which can lift a crab trolley and a crane girder, separately, and couples the crane girder to an end carriage while the crane girder is loaded on the end carriage. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for installing the overhead crane in which an overhead crane 12 is loaded on rails 14 and 14a disposed in an overhead part inside a building 13, this method has the steps of: arranging first and second elevating tables 25 and 25a having spacing on a floor 28; arranging a crane girder 11 diagonally with respect to the rails 14 and 14a in plan view and loading the crane girder 11 on the first and second elevating tables 25 and 25a; pulling up the first and second elevating tables 25 and 25a until a coupling part of the crane girder 11 with end carriages 16 and 16a becomes higher than upper ends of the end carriages; moving a universal bogie 31 to circle the crane girder 11 to couple the end carriages 16 and 16a with the crane girder 11; and pulling up a crab trolley 10 to load it on the crane girder 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
