<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt travel device which reliably prevents a belt from running over an edge without reducing rotational performance of a ring-shaped counter-walk member, and a fixing device and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A belt travel device includes plural rollers, and an endless fixing belt that is looped over the plural rollers and rotatably travels. The belt travel device also includes: a ring-shaped counter-walk member 3 which is freely rotatably mounted on a step portion 2d provided so that a roller-circumferential side of the end surface of a body 2b of at least any one of the plural rollers is formed as recess; and a counter-walk projection 1a which is fixed onto an end portion of an inner circumferential surface of the fixing belt 1 in the width direction on the side which the ring-shaped counter-walk member 3 is arranged, and which has an inclined surface 1a1 on the surface where the counter-walk member 3 is arranged in a manner so as to increase a distance from the counter-walk member 3 with a radial distance from the inner circumferential surface of the fixing belt 1 toward the center of the inner circumference. The counter-walk member 3 has a chamfered portion 3d at a ring corner portion facing the inclined surface 1a1 of the counter-walk projection 1a so that an inclination angle X to the rotation axis of the roller is larger than an inclination angle "a" of the inclined surface 1a1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
