摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film and a polarizing plate showing excellent processability as a polarizing plate and preventing generation of circular irregularity of light on a display plane of a liquid crystal display device or irregularity of light in a circumference portion.

SOLUTION: The optical film contains a compound having a repeating unit, a compound improving durability in retardation, and a cellulose ester. The compound having a repeating unit is included by 30 mass% or more with respect to the cellulose ester.
