PERIPHERAL IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE AND DISPLAY METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peripheral image display device and a display method thereof which allow quick and intuitive operations and have high convenience.

SOLUTION: A peripheral image display device comprises: omnidirectional imaging means 20 for imaging omni-direction; control means 30 for converting imaging data taken by the omni-direction imaging means 20 into an annular image indicating omni-direction and a cut-out image cutting out one part of omni-direction; display means 40 capable of displaying the annular image and the cut-out image; and operation means 50 for performing a selection operation specifying a predetermined selection point to select a cut-out area of the cut-out image for the annular image displayed on the display means 40. When the selection operation is performed, the control means 30 changes the cut-out area to cause a central axis of the cut-out area whose size is predetermined to correspond with the selection point.
