<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end cap of an exterior beam for a vehicle that can be reliably fixed to a bumper body with a simplified configuration that has suppressed the amount of projection to the outside, and an exterior beam using the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the end cap 100, at least one pair of rib parts 2 that extend inside a bumper body 101 are provided so as to be spaced from each other in the width direction of a cover member 1 on the inner surface of the tabular cover member 1 that covers an end surface 101b of the opening end of the bumper body 101, and a rivet hole is formed at the tip of the rib part 2, into which a rivet 102 that engages with the bumper body 101 is inserted.
