<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic transistor having a high mobility and a large current on/off ratio, and exhibiting excellent storage stability. <P>SOLUTION: In the organic transistor having an organic semiconductor layer, the organic semiconductor layer contains at least one kind of compound represented by general formula (1).
