<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of installation of a cover on a housing. <P>SOLUTION: A connector 1 includes a housing 5 in which terminal housing chambers 19 each housing a plurality of terminal metal fittings 3 each having a terminal 11 to be connected to a matching terminal and an electric wire connection part 13 are provided successively, and a cover 9 engaged with one end of the housing 5 and bundling electric wires led out of the housing 5. The cover 9 has a U-shaped cross section, and grooves 29 are formed in at least parts of inner surfaces of opposite flat plate parts 25 of the U shape on sides of an opening end 27 along an opening edge. A slit 33 into which the opening-end-27 side of the cover 9 is inserted is formed in an outer wall 31 along one end part of the housing 5. A protrusion 35 fitted in the groove 29 is formed on an inner surface of the slit 33, and the protrusion 35 formed in the slit 33 is formed at a position where the opening end 27 abuts against rear ends of the terminal metal fittings 3 in a state in which the cover 9 is inserted into the slit 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
