<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel excellent in assemblability and high in dust-proof and drip-proof property. <P>SOLUTION: The lens barrel comprises: a first member 34; a lens holding frame 25 holding a lens which moves in the optical axis direction for varying magnification or for focusing; and an elastic member 36 held between planes orthogonal to the respective optical axes of the first member and the lens holding frame.
