METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MULTI-SEGMENT PSEUDO WIRE SHARING BANDWIDTH AND PROVIDER EDGE NODE THEREOF

A method for a multi-segment pseudo wire (MS-PW) sharing bandwidth is provided in the present invention and a same bandwidth sharing ID is set to PWs which are able to share a same tunnel; the method includes: the bandwidth sharing ID is carried in a label mapping message when a PE node sends the label mapping messages to the PWs sharing the same tunnel. A PE node which is used in a Pseudo Wire Emulation Edge-to-Edge (PWE3) system is provided in the present invention as well, and the same bandwidth sharing ID is set by the PWE3 system to the PWs which are able to share the same tunnel; the PE node includes: a transmission unit for sending, for the PWs sharing the same tunnel, the label mapping messages to other PE nodes; wherein the bandwidth sharing ID is carried in the label mapping messages. A system for an MS-PW sharing bandwidth is provided in the present invention, and includes: PE nodes connected by PWs; the PE nodes are the PE nodes above mentioned. The technical solutions of the present invention are easy to implement with low costs and abroad applicability.
