<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a currency handling ensuring high security by preventing fraud from being made while the power is turned OFF and currency handling machine is set in an OFF state. <P>SOLUTION: The currency handling machine 100 comprises: a housing 1; conveyance sections 120 and 130; discrimination sections 150 and 155; and storage sections 160 and 170. The housing 1 is provided with open/close portions 10, 42 and 50 which can be opened and closed. The currency handling machine 100 further comprises: open/close detectors 81a, 81b and 81c that detect any of the open/close portions 10, 42 and 50 is opened; a storage section 82 that stores a fact that any of the open/close portions 10, 42 and 50 is opened during power OFF is detected; and a control unit 85 that, when the storage section 82 stores the fact that the open/close portion is opened during power OFF, enables ordinary processing only after an investigation operation is made even when the power is turned ON, or causes the storage section 82 to store information concerning deposits and withdrawals after the power is turned ON other than information concerning the amount of cash before the power is turned ON. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
