<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for rapidly calculating hash values even in a case with a comparatively small amount of storage capacity in RAM. <P>SOLUTION: A multifunctional machine generates header information 112 including height information, which indicates a prescribed height, in RAM when JPEG data 111 expressing one scan object is to be generated, and generates in the RAM, actual image data 114 expressing the one scan object. When the actual height of the actual image data 114 is shorter than the prescribed height, the multifunctional machine generates specific image data 116 in the RAM so as to allow the height of whole image data including the actual image data 114 and the specific image data 116 to coincide with the prescribed height. The multifunctional machine sequentially performs calculation processing to calculate hash values by sequentially using respective kinds of partial JPEG data 111a to 111c in the RAM, and sequentially writes the respective kinds of partial JPEG data 111a to 111c into a USB memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
