<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether a newly-detected vehicle is the same as a vehicle for a monitoring target, which is missed out by a surrounding object detection device. <P>SOLUTION: A system includes: a communication device 30 for receiving other vehicle information around own vehicle; and a surrounding object detection device 20 of detecting other vehicle around own vehicle. Based on a secession direction, when a vehicle which transmits the other vehicle information secedes from a detection range of the surrounding object detection device 20, and an entering direction when the vehicle enters the detection range after the vehicle which transmits the information secedes from the detection range, it is determined whether the vehicle which enters the detection range is the same as the vehicle which transmits the information. At that time, when the entering direction is different from the secession direction, it is determined that the vehicle which enters the detection range is different from the vehicle which transmits the information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
