<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for chipping slag on the inner wall of a ladle, which can assist a worker when the worker chips slag adhered to the inner wall of the ladle by use of a breaker. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes: a winding means 4 including a drum which is normally/reversely rotated by rotational drive of a motor in normal/reverse directions and stopped to rotate by an electromagnetic brake, and a wire rope wound around the drum; and a chipping means 5 mounted on the lower end of the wire rope of the winding means 4, the chipping means including the breaker 20 with which the worker chips slag with a vertical force given by a weight 19. The chipping means 5 is raised and lowered by driving the motor 11 in the normal direction, the motor 11 is stopped when the breaker 20 contacts slag at a required position, and the slag is chipped while giving a downward force by the weight 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
