<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality of a whole image by effectively reducing local speckle noises remaining due to scanning of laser light accompanied by variation of scanning speed. <P>SOLUTION: A laser light source emits laser light of an output level Lc according to display gradation of a pixel in a prescribed waveform pattern PT for a pixel display period which is set longer as the scanning speed Vh is lower. The waveform pattern PT is set so that relaxation oscillation specific to the laser light source is produced larger as the scanning speed Vh is lower. The scanning mirror projects the laser light emitted from the laser light source by reflecting the laser light according to its own oscillation angle based on a prescribed scanning sequence. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
