<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller for updating a resistance characteristic used for estimating the rotational speed of an electric motor based on a highly reliable resistance estimation value without using an external sensor for detecting a steering stability state. <P>SOLUTION: A resistance/counter electromotive force estimation value operation portion 51 operates a resistance estimation value R of an electric motor 18 and a counter electromotive force estimation value Ke ω of the electric motor 18 based on a current detection value I for a plurality of operation periods, which is detected by a current detection circuit 43, and on a voltage detection value V for a plurality of operation periods, which is detected by a voltage detection circuit 42. A resistance estimation value updating portion 52 updates the resistance estimation value R held in a resistance estimation value holding portion 53 by using the resistance estimation value R operated by the resistance/counter electromotive force estimation value operation portion 51 when the absolute value of the counter electromotive force estimation value Ke ω operated by the resistance/counter electromotive force estimation value operation portion 51 is a prescribed threshold or below. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
