<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device, an information processing method and a program with which a user can easily find content data, which the user wants to watch, by using plural screens. <P>SOLUTION: In an embodiment, an electronic device that remotely controls a video device for displaying a first content list indicating at least part of plural pieces of content data stored in a storage device, comprises reception means, display means, and request transmission means. The reception means receives content information indicating the plural pieces of content data from the video device. The display means displays a second content list containing content different from the first content list on a display of the electronic device by using the content information.
