<p>PURPOSE: A distributed switch domain of heterogeneous components is provided to reduce the number of devices which are individually controlled in a network. CONSTITUTION: A communication controller(270) comprises an SAE(Switching Accelerator Engine). The SAE decodes the header of a packet received from a virtual machine. The header comprises domain information about a heterogeneous switching domain. The SAE processes the packet. The processing is controlled by the header.</p> |
