<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To count the number of persons indiscriminately and with no contact even in the case that the persons enter or leave a room side by side and in the case that the persons simultaneously enter or leave the room, and to easily construct a system by using a mat including a laser light source, an optical sensor and a pressure sensor as components. <P>SOLUTION: In the present invention, the laser light source and the optical sensor are installed, and room entering and room leaving are distinguished according to sequence in which the optical sensor is turned on and off. The mat which is for easily guiding the feet of a person and includes the pressure sensor in the shape having an inclination and height to an extent that an auxiliary movement device, such as a wheel chair, can pass, is installed on a floor and the pressure sensor counts the number of persons who enter or leave the room. Consequently, it becomes possible to count the number of persons who simultaneously enter or leave the room indiscriminately and with no contact and to grasp the number of persons in the room. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
