<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide type mobile device with an image projecting function capable of certainly preventing emission of laser light in a shortened state. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile device 10 includes: a first housing 1 and a second housing 2 which are relatively and slidably provided; and a projector module 4 that projects an image on the basis of image data by light projected from a projection port. By relatively sliding the first and second housings 1 and 2, a first state (A) and a second state (B) are switched: the first state (A) is a state that the first housing 1 and the second housing 2 are wholly overlapped, and the second state (B) is that the first housing 1 and the second housing 2 are partially overlapped. In the state (A), since the first housing 1 and the second housing 2 are overlapped, a projection port 4a is blocked.
