<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the accuracy of estimating, in a project of developing software, hardware, a system or the like, the total number of errors or the number of remaining errors at the time of design review. <P>SOLUTION: In a review of each of multiple products, where the number of errors pointed out by a reviewer A is represented by a, the number of errors pointed out by a reviewer B by b and the number of errors pointed out by both the reviewer A and the reviewer B by c, a predicted number of errors representing the total of the errors contained in all the products is calculated by a processor from a total number A of errors covering the numbers a of errors, a total number B of errors covering the numbers b of errors and a total number C of errors covering the numbers c of errors, each a, b and c pointed out of all the products, as a predicted section RN which is given a prescribed range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
