Provided is a motor-manipulated type hydraulic actuator unit, wherein an electric motor the movement of which is controlled by a control device activates a capacity adjustment mechanism via a driving-side arm and a driven-side arm, and which is provided with a clutch mechanism that locks the rotation of the driven-side arm, by having a contact member pressed against a clutch case when force is applied to the driven-side arm by the capacity adjustment mechanism. The control device has the duty factors of first to fourth drive signals, which are to be outputted to the electric motor during a neutral-side starting period, a neutral-side normal activation period, a high-capacity side starting period, and a high-capacity side normal activation period of the capacity adjustment mechanism, respectively, made to be configurable, and the duty factors of the first and fourth drive signals are made to be greater than the duty factor of the second drive signal, the duty factor of the third drive signal is made to be greater than the duty factor of the fourth drive signal, and the added up value of the ON time of the third drive signal is made to be greater than the added up value of the ON time of the first drive signal.
