<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent duplicate improvement work by plural users. <P>SOLUTION: An MFP comprises: a job reception unit for receiving a print job from any of plural PCs; an EEPROM for associating the received job with device identification information to store them; an image forming unit for sequentially selecting one from among plural print jobs to form an image; an error notification unit (S23) for, if an error occurs in image formation by the image forming unit, notifying plural PCs identified with plural pieces of device identification information respectively associated with plural print jobs of the error; and a declaration notification unit (S30) for, in response to reception of a declaration of handing improvement work from any of the plural PCs notified of the error (YES in S25), notifying the devices other than the PC having transmitted the declaration out of the plural PCs notified of the error of the declaration of handing the improvement work by another user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
