<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a currency pair transaction support device realizing more appropriate automatic transaction based on index data showing strength of currencies constituting multiple currency pairs in transacting the currency pairs. <P>SOLUTION: An FX index calculation server calculates index data which shows changes in strength of each of eight currencies in chronological order, based on rate data RD of 28 currency pairs from an RD generation server group. An FX automatic transaction server uses the index data of the eight currencies to specify a currency pair for which the index data of both purchased currency and sold currency shows an approximately null state, the index data of purchased currency shows an upward trend and the index data of sold currency shows a downward trend.
