<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaged beverage containing nonpolymerized catechin in high concentration, having both of reduced bitter taste and moderately acidic taste without loosing flavor, and suitable for long preservation even containing a sweetener. <P>SOLUTION: The packaged beverage includes the following components (A), (B) and (C): (A) 0.05-0.5 mass% of nonpolymerized catechin; (B) acidulant (i) citric acid, citrate and ascorbic acid, or (ii) phosphoric acid, phosphate and ascorbic acid; and (C) 0.01-20 mass% of sweetener, and has (D) 5-40 mass% of a gallate body ratio of the nonpolymerized catechin, and also pH ≤5.1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
