<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal lens array element that does not blur a spot of light passing therethrough. <P>SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal lens array element in which liquid crystal is held between a first transparent substrate provided with a lens array face 8 comprising a plurality of lens shapes and a second transparent substrate, a transparent electrode is formed on each lens array face b and the shape of the transparent electrode is designed to be a correction pattern for correcting light passing through a lens array having lens shapes.
