<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that has a good fixability even when a different kind of recording medium is passed, and causes no wrinkle on the recording medium in fixing process, and an image forming device thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing device is provided with conveyance switching means 61 that switches the conveyance direction of the recording medium having passed through a nip section to a reverse direction, makes the recording medium pass the nip section again, and further switches the conveyance direction to a normal direction to make the recording medium pass through the nip section again. Based on a detection result of detection means 65 for detecting the kind of the recording means, the pressure and heat quantity exerted to the recording medium at the nip section are varied by varying means 55 to 58 and 66, and the number of times for making the recording medium reciprocally pass through the nip section again by the conveyance switching means 61 is varied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
