<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sailboat having excellent navigation efficiency, and capable of reducing the manufacturing cost by avoiding any complicated mounting structure of a boom and a main sail. <P>SOLUTION: The sailboat 5 can be operated only by using right and left jib sails 56, 57, and any mounting cost and operation process of a main sail and a boom can be omitted, and the manpower for operation can be reduced. The excellent navigation efficiency can be obtained by alternately operating the right and the left jib sails. Further, by arranging a mast 51 of the sailboat 5 at a position from a midship part to a stern part 510 of the sailboat on the center line 500 of a hull module, the jib sails on the mast substitute a part of the function of a rudder to allow the sailboat to automatically receive the wind. When the sailboat sails downwind, any traditional spinnaker is not used, but when fixing ends 52, 53 of the right and the left jib sails on the port and starboard gunwales are untied, the two right and left jib sails are opened to achieve the effect of the spinnaker. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
