The purpose of the present invention is to provide a compressed composition which, even when tableted, exhibits excellent retention of coat function or excellent content uniformity. The present invention provides a compressed composition which comprises both coated granules that contain a physiologically active compound or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof and a pharmaceutical additive and which is obtained by physically mixing or coating the coated granules with the pharmaceutical additive and then pressing the resulting composition at a low pressure, said pharmaceutical additive containing at least one component selected from the group consisting of hydroxypropyl celluloses with low substitution degrees, lactose, and crystalline cellulose in a total amount of at least 0.5 part by mass per part by mass of the pharmaceutical additive.
