<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve waterproof performance by enabling a back plate portion to contain sufficient volume of water even with a keyboard downsized. <P>SOLUTION: Portable electronic equipment includes: a front case in which a circuit board is housed and a wiring insertion hole is formed; a keyboard 13 that covers the wiring insertion hole and is attached to the front case; and a flexible substrate 20 for key buttons that connects the keyboard 13 to the circuit board via the wiring insertion hole. A pawl 17 whose marginal part partially protrudes outward is disposed on the keyboard 13, a wall 18 for containing water that is erected upward is disposed over the whole periphery of the edge part of the keyboard 13, and a pawl hooking portion to be fitted in the pawl 17 of the keyboard 13 is disposed on the front case. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
