PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fall of dust attached to a filter in an air conditioner comprising the filter. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner 1 comprising a heat exchanger 7 and a blower 9, and further comprises suction openings 15, 17 at the front face 11 and the top face 13 of the air conditioner 1 opposed to the heat exchanger 7, and the filter 33 disposed on the suction openings 15, 17, the filter 33 is vertically movably supported by a filter lifting device 31, and the filter lifting device 31 supports the filter 33 in a state of being inclined at a prescribed angle so that the attachment face 33A of the filter 33 faces upward when the device is lowered.
