<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the use of an item accompanying inter-use communication support, and to precisely select users whose interests or tastes for the item are similar. <P>SOLUTION: A server device is provided with a user similarity calculation means for calculating the similarity of tastes for an item of one user and the other user based on information stored in a use history storage means for one user who requests information exchange with the other user; an introducer selection means for selecting the other user whose similarity to one user is equal to or more than a first reference value as an introducer; a preliminary introducer selection means for selecting the other user whose similarity to one user is less than the first reference value or equal to or more than a second reference value as a preliminary introducer; and an item selection means for selecting the item to increase the similarity of one user to the preliminary introducer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
