PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a cleaning method in which the ink ejection performance can be maintained by maintaining the interior of an ink liquid chamber of an inkjet recording head in an optimum state. SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording head, a nozzle array is formed of a plurality of nozzles for ejecting ink, each of the nozzles communicates with a pressure chamber, each pressure chamber communicates with a common ink supply liquid chamber at its upstream, the common ink supply liquid chamber is equipped with a means for communicating with the outside, and a wall with an ink supply passage of the ink liquid chamber has an inclination. The inkjet recorder carrying the inkjet recording head has ink ejection openings and a means which sucks and reduces a pressure in the inkjet head by the means for communicating with the outside.
