PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating method of a plated steel plate capable of suppressing irregularity of plating and to provide a heater.SOLUTION: The heating method includes: making a current for generating a magnetic field in which a magnetic flux penetrates a plate surface 2s of a plated steel plate 2 to flow through the plated steel plate 2; and energization-heating the plated steel plate 2 by making a current of a phase opposite to the phase of the plated steel plate 2 to flow along a current flowing direction in the plated steel plate 2 through a conductive plate 3 disposed in parallel with the plated steel plate 2 through an insulating gap between the plated steel plate 2 and the plate surface 2s.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
