PURPOSE: A gas valve device of a cook top-type gas range is provided to quickly supply and ignite gas by pressing a valve shaft. CONSTITUTION: A gas valve device of a cook top-type gas range comprises a valve body(230), a valve shaft(200), a rod(210), first and second pushers(240,250), and a magnet unit(260). The valve body comprises a gas inlet, a gas outlet, and a gas flow passage. The valve shaft is pressed by a user. The rod is extended from the valve shaft in the longitudinal direction and coupled to the valve body. One end of the first pusher is coupled to the rod. The second pusher has a first inclined surface on one end which contacts an inclined surface(241) of the first pusher and a second inclined surface on the other end. The inclined surface of the first pusher presses the first inclined surface by the vertical force of the first pusher so that the second pusher is horizontally moved. The magnet unit is pressed by the second pusher in order to selectively open or block the gas flow passage of the valve body.
