PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To handle a 4K image by using a circuit corresponding to a 2K image.SOLUTION: An image signal generation device 102 outputs a 4K image signal. An output device 104 temporarily storing the left half of one line of the 4K image signal of one screen from the image signal generation device 102 in one DRAM 110 and the remaining right half in a DRAM 112, respectively under the control of a control device 106. An image composition part 114 alternately reads the images temporarily stored in the DRAMs 110, 112 in a line unit to line-sequentially composite the images. A 2K output part 116 adds timing data of horizontal and vertical synchronization from a synchronization generation part 118 to a composite image signal from the image composition part 114. A conversion part 120 restores a 4K image from an output of the 2K output part 116.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
