PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary optical element device, a luminaire and an image projection apparatus which are capable of preventing dust from attaching to a rotary optical element.SOLUTION: A color wheel 21, that is a rotary optical element, comprises: a disk-shaped filter member 201a formed of filters of R (red), G (green) and B (blue); and a presser plate 201b including a metal material and fixed to a motor shaft of a wheel motor 21a. A first air flow generation part 204, first air flow generation means for generating an air flow flowing radially from a center of rotation of the color wheel 21, is formed on a motor-facing surface of the presser plate 201b opposite the wheel motor 21a. A second air flow generation part 205, second air flow generation means for generating the air flow flowing radially from the center of rotation of the color wheel, is also formed on a surface of the presser plate 201b opposite the motor-facing surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
