BATTERY UNIT AND BATTERY FRAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery unit which prevents damage of a battery during a vehicle rear collision even when disposed in a cargo chamber of a vehicle, and to provide a battery frame.SOLUTION: A battery unit 100 includes: a battery module 11 having batteries 11a; and a battery frame 14 holding the battery module 11 on a framework member of a vehicle 1 in a suspending manner. The battery unit 100 is disposed in a lower space 5 of a cargo chamber 3 so that a longitudinal direction of the battery module 11 is arranged along a vehicle width direction. The battery frame 14 includes a frame assembly 20 having a front frame member 21 and a rear frame member 22 extending in the longitudinal direction and connection rigid bodies 23 for connecting the front frame member 21 to the rear frame member 22. A rear part protection member 50 which transmits an impact occurring during a vehicle rear collision to the frame assembly 20 is provided at a rear side of the battery module 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
