PURPOSE: A rotary electric machine is provided to improve the efficiency of rotating electric machine by reducing the loss of the eddy current generated in the permanent magnet. CONSTITUTION: A rotary electric machine comprises a stator(1), a rotor(2), a coil(12), first and second magnetic poles. The first and the second magnetic pole comprise a plurality of stimulus units(23). The stimulus unit comprises the unit iron core and a permanent magnet. The permanent magnet is formed between projections. The first magnetic pole is formed with the permanent magnet. The second magnetic pole is formed with each projection which is contiguous in a rotational direction.
