PURPOSE: A steam thermo-hygrostat and an operational method thereof are provided to accomplish thermo-hygrostat of high efficiency by using a self steam heating system and a drain evaporating system. CONSTITUTION: A steam thermo-hygrostat comprises an indoor unit(50), an outdoor unit(90), and a steam generating unit. The indoor unit comprises a body, an evaporator(53), a control box(55), and a blower(56). The outdoor unit comprises a compressor, a condenser, an accumulator, and an oil separator. The steam generating part is connected to the control box in the body and has a steam generator which generates steam to send a heat exchanger. In the heat exchanger, the steam and air exchanges heat for heating. The steam generating part stores condensate from the heat exchanger and uses for humidification by heating and evaporating in constant water level.
