PURPOSE: An upper support structure of a marine floating structure, which can effectively support the load of a structure, and a method thereof are provided to prevent the slack of an upper wall by supporting a deck of the floating marine structure to an upper part of the hull using a stool. CONSTITUTION: An upper support structure of a marine floating structure comprises a storage tank(20), facilities, a deck(32), and a plurality of stools(30). The storage tank is arranged under an upper wall of a hull(10). Facilities are arranged on the upper wall top of the hull and used for inside operation. Facilities are installed on the deck facility. The stool is installed between the deck and the upper wall and supports the deck in order to transmit the load of upper part to the upper wall.
