<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording apparatus having a perforation processing part capable of improving forming quality of perforations to be formed and prolonging the lifetime of a perforation blade, and to provide a perforation processing apparatus and the control method. <P>SOLUTION: A micrometer 411 is adjusted so that the perforation blade 404 contacts with an anvil roller 401.
