<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patch antenna of an active array antenna used in Ku band. <P>SOLUTION: The patch antenna comprises a dielectric substrate laminated on a ground plate, a radiation element consisting of a conductor formed on the dielectric substrate, a feeder line connected to a feeding point for feeding to the radiation element, and a transformer formed between the radiation element and the feeder line in order to match the impedance between the input end of the radiation element and the feeder line. When the resonance frequency is set in a frequency band of 12-18 GHz, a parameter indicating the size of the radiation element is set based on a desired frequency band width. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
