<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the infiltration of liquid while suppressing a sealing portion so as not to add excessive pressure to display means. <P>SOLUTION: In a display device 10, a sealing portion 50 has a rubber layer 52 stuck to a display unit 40, and a sponge layer 56 provided on a panel 20 side of the rubber layer 52. The sponge layer 56 has stiffness lower than that of the rubber layer 52. By compressing the sponge layer 56 with the rubber layer 52 and the panel 20, comparatively small pressure is applied from the sponge layer 56 to the rubber layer 52 to press the display unit 40. It is suppressed that excessive pressure is added to the display unit 40. Furthermore, the rubber layer 52 has waterproofness, and the sponge layer 56 absorbs liquid and retains water. Therefore, the rubber layer 52 and the sponge layer 56 can prevent the liquid from infiltrating into the display device 10 through between the panel 20 and a touch panel sheet 46. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
