<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device for generating image data that is easy to view when a motion image is reproduced and displayed later, in the case that an attitude of the imaging apparatus changes from a horizontal position to a vertical position during photographing the motion image. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 that can record a motion image and a still picture includes: an imaging part 102; an image data memory 110 that temporarily stores original image data generated by performing a color reproduction process to an image signal; an image processing part 106 that reads out the original image data from the image data memory 110 and processes it to generate live view display image data and recording image data; an image data reading controller 114; and an attitude detection part 122 that detects an attitude of the imaging apparatus 100. The image data reading controller 114 reads out the original image data from the image data memory, and modifies a memory access sequence when processing the data in the image processing part 106 based on the attitude detection result by the attitude detection part 122. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
